I decided that if there were any time to catch a cold in the summer, online sale season is definitely the best time to do so. Barney's was literally re-stocking their sale nightly. I was able to score a few Isabel Marant pieces that I'd been obsessing over all season. I also picked up this Ladakh dress. Obsessed with the cut, print, all of it.

Summer

Alight, summer has finally arrived in full force, so needless to say, I spent a majority of my weekend in my new bikini and Vanessa Mooney goodies at the beach. I've been under the weather since Tuesday, so today was the first day that I could actually breathe out of both nostrils. You gotta love catching a cold in the middle of June. It's the best. I worked from my bed for most of the week, so I apologize for my lack of posting. I figured that you wouldn't find me in pajamas all that inspirational.

Black & White

This dress was an obvious choice for dinner over the weekend when it arrived in the mail on Friday afternoon. Such a dramatic look for me. I felt like I was demanding attention with the chiffon draping side panels. It made me a little bit uncomfortable. I'm not going to lie, lol.

I'm craving all of the above, but realistically, that's not going to happen this month, so I think I'm going to pre-order the Isabel Marant boots, and order the Gorjana cross necklace from Shopbop. Although together, these pieces make the perfect summer outfit.

Six Fifteen

I was doing so good with staying away from all black, and then I caved when this skirt arrived yesterday from Goodnight Macaroon. The front slit is a nice change from a side slit, and the cut and feel are brilliant for the price. This is what I wore to grab Pho last night. A little too dressy for casual Vietnamese dining? Perhaps. I've never been one to dress for the occasion.

I'm such a sucker for all white, so summer is my time of year. The warm weather always inspires my looks to be more on the ethereal side, which I find very refreshing and relaxing. It's a nice change to my all black uniform that I tend to wear all throughout the winter months.

Ride The Wind

I found the most perfect beach cruiser yesterday, so needless to say, I spent majority of my day exploring new areas in San Diego. It's amazing to me how many hidden treasures I find while I'm biking, that and I find it extremely relaxing. 

I don't know how many of my readers are True Blood fans, but the season 5 premier was last night, and it was ridiculously amazing. I think that True Blood definitely lives up to Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Series, which is always really challenging to do.

Summer Love

I'm so stoked that it's the weekend, you have no idea, lol. I wore this awesome strapless white dress to dinner last night, and then we went to see Prometheus. If you loved the Alien series, you will love this film. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. So good. Adrian and I are on a mission for new beach cruisers today. I'm thinking white because my pink one was stolen.

Flores

I was completely obsessed when I saw these pants about two months ago in LF's festival lookbook. For me, the print is perfect, because I feel this pant trend can be overkill if not done tastefully. They took about six weeks to hit the stores after being featured in the lookbook, but it was well worth the wait. If you have an LF nearby, I highly recommend stopping in.

Beach Day

Yesterday was gorgeous and sunny, the best day of the week for beach weather, so I totally took advantage and hung out for a few hours. I seriously found the most perfect beach spot on Coronado Island. It's only 7 minutes away, but it felt like a mini vacation. Gotta love it!
